The Basics 101

Let's go over the basics of running a Unturned server.

How Do I Restart the Server?

To simply restart the server, you will want to connect via the Remote Desktop app.

Step 1. Hover your mouse over the terminal icon down on the task bar.
Step 2. Select in the menu that says the server name.
Step 3. Inside the terminal simply type, shutdown time "reason"
Step 4. Success, the server will now reboot based on the time, and reason you specified.

Let's go over the shutdown command though so you can fully understand.

• shutdown is the command itself.
• time is based on the number of seconds such as, 300 is 5 minutes and so forth.
• "reason" is what the members will see.

Best Practices

You should always do a reboot and give atleast a 5 minute warning.

The Machine Restarted, How Do I Start It ALL Back Up?

In the cases of the machine restarting, you will need to manually start each of the servers.

Step 1. Connect via the Remote Desktop app.
Step 2. Go to the File Explorer app, click on This PC, and Local Disk (C:)
Step 3. Click on the Servers folder, PvE and Double click on the Start.bat file.
Step 4. Go back to the Servers folder, Export and Double click on the Start.bat file.
Step 5. Now Back to the Local Disk (C:) click on the Backups folder and Double click on the Start.bat file.
Step 6. Success! You did it, LYHME is now backup and Running.
