How To: Giveaways

The following is how to create, host, and manage a giveaway.

Introduction

Our Events Team team is in charge of giveaways when it comes to our community.

Creating the Giveaway

We use the GiveawayBot#2381 to create giveaways, to create a giveaway simply type, /gstart

  • The duration minimum 2 days
  • The winners minimum 1
  • The prize should be the item name, with each letter being capitalized, example Dillon Aero M134 Minigun

Note: If a member is the one sponsoring the giveaway include in the name at the end: , Sponsored by @name

Alerting Members of the Giveaway

To alert all the members, once the giveaways has been created we should send a message formatted like the following: @Events: We are giving away a ___________

After that message has been sent, you will want to send the image link right after it.

After the Event

Once the giveaway has ended, we will want to tag the member and share the following message congratulations you won the _______, open a General Support ticket to redeem your prize.

Important Note: Only delete finished giveaways when you start a new one.

Prizes

Ranks

Giving Away: If a member wants to giveaway a rank, tag Uncle LYHME and he will take it from there.

Winner: Ask for the members steam URL, if they are Linked simply use the, /whois command in the #playground text-channel and tag a Leader and they will take it from there.

Items

Giving Away: If a member wants to giveaway a item simply get on the server and them give you the item they wish to giveaway and trash the item. (Magazines must be full, with all original or better attachments)

Winner: Ask for the members steam URL, if they are Linked simply use the, /whois command in the #playground text-channel and tag a Leader and they will take it from there.

Vehicles

Giving Away: If a member wants to giveaway a item simply get on the server and them give you the vehicle they wish to giveaway, garage the vehicle and than delete that garage. (Battery must be included)

Winner: Ask for the members steam URL, if they are Linked simply use the, /whois command in the #playground text-channel and tag a Leader and they will take it from there.

Citrus

Giving Away: If a member wants to giveaway Citrus simply get on the server and them pay you the amount they wish to giveaway and inform a Leader of the Citrus to have them remove it from your account.

Winner: Ask for the members steam URL, if they are Linked simply use the, /whois command in the #playground text-channel and tag a Leader and they will take it from there.
