How To: Warn a Base

We will be going over the steps to warning a base.

As a Helper, one of your important responsibilities is to enforce our guidelines, particularly when it comes to warning bases. This ensures that our Building Guidelines are adhered to. Those things include such as, if they are following our cube count, staying within the limits of certain items, and have the required items.

Example Scenario

You come up to a base that seems suspicious, you enter free cam. (Press Shift + F1 to Enter or Leave) You start to count the of the cubes, check for a claim flag, claimed bed and past any item limits. In this example, let's say they are over four cubes.

Let's go up to their front door to place a staff sign that we can get from /kit sign so when they leave their base they can see it. (The sign should not be on such a road way) We then want to copy the template from below. Once we have that copied we can proceed to edit the sign, putting our name, reason, when it needs to be fixed and the rem code.

• For our name, we will want to put our in-game name and tag, such as: [HELPER] Uncle LYHME between the color and bold tags.
• If your name is long feel free to abbreviate the rank such as [H] for helpers, [M] for moderators and so forth.
• Next is the reason, we want to short but descriptive on this, such as: Over the cube limit by 4, please fix by between the color tag. We always want to include to the please fix by at the end.
• After that is the date we will want to check the building guidelines to see how long they should be given, such as if today is May 19, 2023 it will be: 5/24/23 between the color tag. Dates should be formatted like 5/19/23, if not it will make the warning sign becomes invalid.
• Final step, we will want to create a rem code you can do this by doing /rem messagehere we will want to replace messagehere with the reason we put and date. By doing this, it will generate a code that is the code we will want to put at the bottom of the sign.
• With the unique rem code it will allow you to teleport back to where you are standing to see if its been fixed or not.
• Please do not add any kind of formatting to the code on the sign such as color.

Let's say 3 days past and it's fixed, you can remove the sign and find the rem report inside of #us1〡rems and react with a trashcan emoji.

and... You did it!

But let's say that the 5 days have past, leave the report there and a Administrator can take necessary action.

For Administrators, if the allotted time has past with no action taken by the member you will want to follow the punishment layed out in our Building Guidelines.
